I am Mary Grace Mista. I’m an experienced Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines. My work is focused on assisting busy business owners, bloggers, and entrepreneurs with their websites, social media accounts, and other administrative tasks needed. I’m happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career in order to manage projects through creative problem-solving and innovative thinking. My Story
I am a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology but unexpectedly I gave birth to my daughter. I told myself that I can't let someone else take care of her because I promised myself that I should be the one to take care of her from the day she is born until she comes to her senses. So I decided to give up my corporate career. I resigned from my job with no backup plan and only my live-in partner has income.

Last March 2020 there was a pandemic, so we were even more financially limited; my live-in partner's pay was insufficient, so we were in debt. I was browsing the internet the other day when I came across an article about working online. At first, I assumed it was a fraud or that it was not real since I believed that "if work from home was real, everyone would be in this situation because no one wants to be away from their family."

But, because I truly desire to make money while caring for my child, I tried to watch videos on YouTube about being a Virtual Assistant. When I discovered that there is such a thing as an online career, I expected to fall in love with it right away. Because I am an introvert. Then I started building my online profile and portfolio on several job sites. When no one contacted my applications at first, it didn't stop me because I have a different feeling, that there will and will be a client. I never stopped praying to the Lord, and my online profile and portfolio improved as time passed. And this August 2021 I had my first client for a project-based only position.
Currently, my online career continues and I've had the opportunity to work for several CEOs and bosses across the world. As a result, I've continued to be a stay-at-home mom for now because I enjoyed my job so much. Being able to support my family without having to leave them feels wonderful. I'm grateful to my clients and bosses who believed in me. You are also one of my inspirations why I'm improving my skills in this career even more.
